Executive functioning difficulties (including ADHD/ADD)

An opportunity to explore what we mean by ‘attention’ and ‘executive functioning’ and its importance for learning. We will also explore the behaviours we might see when a child or young person is struggling with their attention, and the strategies we can implement to support them. This course will also cover the perceptions and misconceptions of an ‘ADHD/ADD diagnosis and what a diagnosis could mean for a child, their family and education.
